Defining 'Fun to Drive', the Ferrari 296 GTB is an evolution of Ferraris mid-rear-engined two-seater sports berlinetta concept.
Combining an utterly sublime 2.9l twin-turbocharged V6 engine with electric motors is a recipe that has created a jaw dropping 830cv. The 296 GTB's V6 engine has been referred to as 'the little V12' thanks to engineering which has combined the force of the turbos and the harmony of the high-frequency notes of a naturally-aspirated V12.
The 296 GTB has been designed to feature a short-wheelbase, making it the most compact Berlinetta from Ferrari in the last decade. The dynamic enhancements have been developed with the aim of increasing the cars performance and all-round usability, as well as making the hybrid layout a perfect addition to the 'fun to drive' characteristics.
On the inside, the cabin of the 296 GTB is built around a full-digital interface, first seen on the SF90 Stradale. As is traditional on any Ferrari, the controls are designed around the driver of the car, allowing pure focus on the driving. For the passenger, there is an optional passenger display option which allows them to be apart of the journey as well as controlling the media and sat nav.
For a more 'track-focused' version of the 296 GTB, there is the optional Assestto Fiorano package available when choosing the desired specification. This equips the car with weight reduction features, plenty of beautiful carbon fibre and the use of lightweight materials on the interior and exterior. A special optional Livery can also be added to create an even more bespoke design for Assetto Fiorano versions of the 296 GTB.
